1. We are often faced with injustice in life, such as unfair grades, unfair treatment at work, or discrimination. There are times when it may be best to speak out for what we believe is right and other times when it may be best to remain silent. Describe a situation in which you, or someone you know, faced an unfair situation. Explain whether it was best to speak out or remain silent and why. What advice would you give someone facing similar circumstances?

2. Everyone seems to be more health concious. Many of us are exercising regularly and are being more careful about the food that we eat. Write an essay in whcich you discuss the ways that this health awareness helps people. Desrcibe the ways that you stay healthy.

3. It is sometimes said, "There are no poor students, only poor teachers." At one time or another we have all had a very good teacher. This teacher made difficult subjects easy or boring subjects interesting. Write an essay discussing the qualties of a good teacher. Describe an experience that you had with a good teacher.
