The Hunter College Reading/Writing Center is a comprehensive service for the entire college community, offering tutorial and computer-assisted instruction to students and technical support and development to faculty and staff.
Registered students can receive tutoring in reading and writing skills, critical reading, and the writing process. Students can apply for a weekly appointment with a tutor and/or use drop-in services during scheduled hours. Students may also attend workshops offered at the Center throughout the academic year. Faculty can refer students to the Reading/Writing Center for tutorial assistance by completing a referral form, request class visits and in-class workshops, and request information or technical assistance from a Writing Across the Curriculum consultant. For more information, see the Faculty Guide.
